SERASON play - November 2024 (Spotify Playlist)
MONDAY 4 NOVEMBER 2024
I just updated my Spotify playlist, 'SERASON play' (it now has a lil 'p'), for November 2024. You can also find it on my Spotify Artist profile. And please don't forget to save the playlist to your library (+)!
I found so much good stuff over the last few weeks, it was hard trying to keep the playlist length consistent with prior months. Unlike the first two months, however, the odd one out or rather the unique electronic or indie dance kind of track, Perpteual Motion by Phantoms, opens the list this month, mainly because I wanted the rest to be a sequential mini journey (so you have to listen to it all in one go without stops ;)).
So, even though I love everything, I should call some tracks out for those who are too busy...The first is Ferry Corsten's new but retro-sounding track with SUPERSTRINGS, Remember. Check it out for some proper trancey, '90s vibes. :) For track 5, I had to reach out to my fave local radio show (Kiss FM show Trance Dimension by Burnz B), to get the name of this one by Meilink, End of Time, which has the perfect amount trance and acid. I also really love Artaria's Morana, Be My Fantasy by Patrick Scuro and FOLUAL, and finally, Energy by Victor Ruiz.
Going forward, I'll sometimes try to find a couple of high BPM, 'hard dance' tracks that aren't too silly/cheesy/cringe. After all, once upon a time, in a not too distant town (Sydney), many dog years ago, I had my own kind of light hardcore phase (mainly Happy Hardcore), so I understand the appeal of the fast and fun, and some of what's out there is very ok, like the two tracks I've included this month: Nothing Can Stop Us by CARV and Vortek's, and KUKO's Summertime Sadness, which I first heard in a Boiler Room-like video...Please enjoy. :)
Lastly, closing out the month is a new find for me, Boston 168 and their track Feeling You. I listened to some of their live gigs and...wow, especially the more recent stuff. Kinda new techno, acid, trance, retro sounds, lofi sounds, everything. :D
If you prefer highlights and something visual, you can also check out my list on YouTube, SERASON's Heavy Rotation (nothing's rotating, but if I were to DJ lol), and while you're there, feel free to check out the vlogs! For past months' playlists, please see play Box, which lists newest (current month) down to oldest, so you may need to scroll. Until the next update... :D
